Our historic Cape Colonial Style Buildings are ideally situated in the quiet leafy suburb of Oranjezicht, on the lower slopes of Table Mountain, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, yet only a ten minute walk through the scenic Company Gardens, to the city center.

 

Many of Cape Town’s major attractions, like Table Mountain, the V&A Waterfront, Robben Island Museum, Clifton Beach and Camps Bay Beach are all no more than a five to ten minute drive away. A variety of unique restaurants and pubs, as well as the Gardens Shopping Center, are right on our doorstep. Entering our 26th year of business here at Mountain Manor, there is no greater joy than being the gateway to travellers enjoying the wonders of Cape Town. Our spaces have evolved over the years, but we have stayed true to the historic charm of the buildings. The guest house hosts 12 double rooms, all ensuite and fully equipped with all the necessary amenities to make you feel right at home. Harrow House houses our executive-self catering suites and looks out on our pool. All of our guests have the pleasure of enjoying all of our communal spaces and guest options of breakfasts, dinners, drinks from our bar and help with booking your tours and excursions around Cape Town.

 

Your home, away from home-Mountain Manor is often described as one of Cape Town’s hidden Gems. A tranquil setting of a pool with a poolside lounge area, outdoor ‘braai’ facilities and a canopied courtyard which leads into our dining room and bar area. A relaxing, sun catching front porch and off street parking accommodates the different rooms options we host here at Mountain Manor.

Guest House Rooms ~ The Guest House has 12 rooms in total – 5 Standard Rooms and 7 Superior Rooms, all with bathrooms en-suite. All our rooms are tastefully decorated and furnished, right down to our quality bed linen and toweling. Extra length King and Three Quarter size beds are also available. All rooms contain: Television, Hair dryers.

Mountain Manor’s Executive Self Catering Apartments are situated in Harrow House, a Majestic Cape Heritage Mansion dating back to 1852, situated on the lower slopes of Table Mountain, within easy access of all Cape Town’s major tourist attractions.

 

Rated as “Highly Recommended” by the AA, Mountain Manor has also been awarded a Four Star Tourism Grading. There are seven self-catering apartments to choose from. Our Serengeti apartment is situated in the Serengeti Apartment block right next door to the Mountain Manor property.
